Who we are

SupFunds is an initiative by Tirukamal. It helps people looking for capital and people looking to fund ideas find each other.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email, optional phone number, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password.
• Profile details you choose to give: your organisation, story, themes, funding needs or funding thesis.
• Activity needed to run the service: log-ins, introductions, saved profiles, and emails we send you.

Who sees what

• Nothing about members is public.
• A profile of someone looking for capital is shown only to approved funders whose thesis matches it.
• Amounts sought and contact details are shared only after both sides accept an introduction.
• Funders stay anonymous to people looking for capital until an introduction is accepted.
• The SupFunds team can see profiles in order to review and approve them.

Why we use it

Only to run SupFunds: verifying accounts, matching, introductions and keeping the service safe. We don't sell data or show ads.

Where it's kept

On our servers in India, with daily encrypted backups kept for 14 days. Emails are sent through Zoho ZeptoMail.

Your choices

You can edit your profile at any time and delete your account from the Account page, which removes your profile, matches, saves and introductions. For anything else, write to us.
